Time is precious
I was at the chemist the other day. I walked up to the counter and handed in my prescription. The staff member said it'll be about 20 minutes, ok? and I immediately said hmm no, that's too long, and walked away.
I drove to another pharmacy and got my meds in 5 minutes.
On the way home I was thinking why I did that. Why did I care about that 20 minutes so much? Until that point I didn't really think about it. I had other things to do in that 20 minutes, so it meant a lot to me.
Time is precious. Cut the losses and use your time well.
