Staying with the friendly Ghost

I changed my mind on sunsetting this blog. I’ve decided to stay with my custom installation of Ghost. Here is why;

1. It works well for what I do
2. I have already invested a bunch of time into setting it up
3. The self hosting cost of 5 USD per month is nothing compared to my time tinkering around to find a cheaper solution
4. The workflow of pasting a post and picking a photo is built-in and saves me time
5. Even if I decide to migrate later down the line I have the content, tags and API to do it
