Personal Reflections on 2022
The end of the year tempts you to make resolutions and look back on the year that has passed. Here are some reflections and directions I'm thinking about.
Make plans and set goals (specific or vague). It's good to have a direction but be agile about how you get there.
Don't over-commit. Some people can pull this off but that means you are too busy and stressed to have a life. If you are committing to a lot, book some time for yourself to do the things you love.
Life is what happens when you had other plans. Roll with it and make the most of it. This is another reason to have buffers in your calendar.
The key to happiness is low expectations. Focus on a few things that makes you happy and moves you forward, ignore the rest.
